J.Crew Leopard Blazer Styled Five Ways
Sometimes something like a leopard blazer can be intimidating to some-how do I wear it? Where do I wear it? CanI pull it off? The answer(s): multiple ways, anywhere you want and yes you can!I purchased this blazer over the summer-long before I could even fathom wearing anything sweater related-and quickly started thinking of different ways I could wear it when the weather finally cooled off! What I love about this sweater blazer (besides the leopard print) is it's versatility. I think because it isn't a typical structured blazer one would think of it's easier to style multiple ways. I love that it can be worn both in and out of the office!I am wearing a medium in the blazer so I do suggest sizing down!
If there ever was an outfit that was me, it's pretty much this. A graphic tee, jeans and sneakers in some way, shape, form or combo seems to be all that I reach for lately! I love pairing something like this blazer with something super casual like a graphic tee and sneakers-it gives the blazer a little bit more versatility! The tee is sold out so I've linked similar for you, and the jeans I suggest sizing down!
One of the easiest ways for me to style this blazer was with the workplace in mind. If you have to get somewhat dressed up for work, this blazer is for you! I love how it looks so great with a pair of jeans and a tee but also looks just as amazing with a pair of dress pants and a crisp, white top! These pants are a favorite of mine-I wear them a lot! I am wearing the modern, size 12 (I suggest sizing down). The top is also a favorite of mine-I have had it for a long time and have worn it pretty casually, too. I wear a large but could probably wear a medium!
I love this particular outfit because it is such a "middle of the road" look-it can be worn to the office (if you work in a more casual environment) but it would also make a great date night or girls night out look! The shoes are old so I've linked similar, but the jeans and top are current! These jeans get worn quite a lot and are super comfortable. I do suggest sizing down! The top is another Madewell favorite-I am in the large but could probably wear a medium!
I realize mixing prints isn't for everyone, but if it's something that you love then this is the look for you! I know it can be a bit bold for some, but I think keeping the colors neutral (the black and white) and the pattern something simple like stripes makes it totally work!In the short amount of time I've had this top I've worn it so many times-I did size down to a medium. The large would definitely be wearable but I just felt like it was a smidge too loose fitting! The jeans are sold out so similar are linked, and the shoes are current-I love them and wear them a lot. They are simple, classic and good staple.
I have had these boots in my cart for months (literally I was pregnant with Cecelia when I added them-lol) and just finally purchased them! I had been wanting them for a while but wasn't sure if I could pull them off-I mean, I'm not longer an angst ridden teen like I was the last time I wore Docs-HA! I had a purple pair of Mary Janes when I was in junior high which were my absolute favorites. I wore them every.single.day. It didn't matter if they matched my outfit or not, I wore them!I wanted to try and give this blazer a little bit of an edge so I thought pairing the look with my Dr. Martens would look awesome! if this look really isn't you, swapping the boots out for a pair of heels or a dressier pair of booties (like the ones I am wearing with my jeans) would look great and dress it up a bit! This dress is no longer available so I've linked similar options for you!
