Mommy in Heels: Recent Ulta Purchases
I had a little Ulta gift card from Christmas that I've been anxious to spend so I stopped in last week to see what I could find! I ended up grabbing a few things-one of them a tried and true and others some new finds!
URBAN DECAY LOOSE SETTING POWDER
I always love finding a good setting powder-as I was chatting with the gal at Ulta she highly recommended this one. Although it comes in multiple shades I opted for the translucent one. I've been using it for a few days and I have loved it. I feel like it really helps to set my makeup without making it look caked on. It helps absorb oil and shine as well-I tend to get a little oily as the day progresses so this helps control that!
It's portable and easy to use with a built in brush!
This waterproof eye pencil is so easy to apply to my waterline and gives me an instant refresh. It is a subtle, soft pink shade that helps brighten and open up your eyes. At this point in my life, I need as much help as I can get when it comes to looking bright eyed and awake!
This tinted lip balm is such a great every day lip balm. It has a reactor in it that works with your natural pH level to give you a custom shade. I don't really know how 'plump' it makes my lips, but honestly I just love the color (I have Inner Glow) and how moisturized it makes my lips feel. It comes in two other shades-a sheer and a pretty mauve! I will say that even though I'm not 100% sold on the plump factor of it (not just this one, basically all 'plumping' lip items) it does have a nice tingle to it!
LIVING PROOF FULL DRY VOLUME BLAST
This stuff is amazing. I have been using it for quite some time-it's something I always have on hand. I have really fine, thinner hair so I need all the volume that I can get. This gives me that without making it feel weighed down! It's a little on the pricier side, but a little bit goes a long way so it lasts! It gives my hair the grit that it needs to give it the volume and texture I wish it naturally had! I also have a travel sized one in my purse all the time, too just in case I need a little refresher!
