Mommy in Heels: Loving Lately

Hope you are having a great week so far!

I am so happy how much you all loved the start of my new weekly series, ‘Loving Lately’ last week! I find that I do share a lot on instagram/stories, but there are always things I seem to forget to share. Those tend to be items that I use pretty regularly and are such a part of my day to day that I forget about sharing them with you all!

This week, per the usual, I’m sharing a mish mosh of items, from home decor, to lotion that helps dry feet!

Decorative Basket: I recently grabbed these for my mud room. I was in need of additional storage (I blame myself and Charlotte…she takes after me haha). My friend and home decor guru Zarah from Indigo Bleu suggested these and they’re so awesome! I feel like it would even be cute for a faux plant!

Lauren McBride Eucalyptus Garland: Over the last couple of years we have been revamping our Christmas decor. Since we got married (2005) our holiday decor consisted of a lot of hand me downs and decor gifts that were cute but not really our taste (but gifts = free, and decorations are expensive). We finally decided to start getting rid of decorations that didn’t fit our style and (very slowly) add in new things! Can’t wait to add this to our decor! If you haven’t checked out any of Lauren’s items, you should do so. She has great taste!

Face Ice Roller: I have had this for several years and let me tell you-it’s ten dollars well spent. From helping me cool down in the dead heat of summer, to de-puffing puffy eyes, to calming intense headaches, it is amazing!

O’Keefe’s Foot Lotion: This has been a lifesaver for my feet if I’m being totally honest! My feet tend to get pretty dry year round and it was always a challenge to find something that really helped. I forget how I found this-maybe searching Amazon?! It is amazing, works wonders and I can’t recommend it enough!

Mini Skincare Fridge: I’ve shared my love for my mini skincare fridge before, and that love still rings true. I’m telling you-applying moisturizer, or swiping my face with a skincare pad that is chilled is SO much more refreshing! I keep mine on my dresser and keep it stocked with my most used items!

Lauren McBride Wooden Bead Garland: Another item that we are adding to our Christmas decor! I love how neutral it is, and the fact that we could even use it year round!

Rebel Girls Book Set: We have had Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls for a while and the girls love it. We would read one person every night before bed which is always fun. The girls always end up Googling to see what they look like (as opposed to an illustration) and just find out more information about them! This set of books is a great extension for the little one. Charlotte especially has been loving them. She has been taking them to school with her to read during class or on the bus! They have a lot of options in their Rebel Girl series-they’re worth checking out!

Faux Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree: I have had this for just under a year and I’ve managed to keep it alive! I kid, I kid. I can’t keep anything alive other than humans which is why it’s fake, haha! It does look very real and the price is the best I’ve seen. It also comes in several different heights which is great!
