My Favorite Jackets for the Fall Season
As much as I love getting new things, I feel like there are items that I wear over and over again, no matter what. Fall jackets are one of those! As much as I would love to have a different coat to match each outfit, it just doesn’t happen-besides being expensive I tend to wear the same handful of jackets during the fall, and even winter months!
One thing I love about this time of year is that I don’t have to get bundled from head to toe. I usually reach for my favorite fall jackets for not only a lightweight layer, but to also complete my look. I love that they can serve double duty!
In today’s post, I’m sharing my three favorite fall jackets!

A great moto jacket is something that is an incredibly versatile piece for your closet. This particular one I’ve had for three seasons now and have no intentions of getting rid of it! It looks great with not only jeans and a graphic tee, but dresses too! I’m telling you-its a closet staple!
I’ve linked not only my moto jacket but other options as well for you!

Let’s chat rain jackets! I never knew I really needed one until I added it to my closet! From the drizzly bus stop to Charlotte’s rainy soccer games, I have gotten so much wear out of mine!
I even wear it pretty frequently on days where it isn’t rainy but a bit chilly-its the perfect, lightweight layer!
I am wearing the large, so I would say it’s true to size!

Now onto sweater blazers! I cannot say enough good things about sweater blazers. For me, they aren’t just a functioning jacket but they’re also an accessory!
This leopard one is my newest and current favorite. It can be worn so many ways and is a great layering piece for those fall days when it’s chilly but not enough to wear a heavy coat!
In J.Crew sweater blazers (the Sophie) I size down, but in this leopard one I suggest sizing down two-I am wearing the small!
The tan I’m wearing below is also a great option to keep in your coat closet-such a neutral basic that can be worn with so much! I love the length of it (this length is the Juliette)! I also suggest sizing down in this-I am wearing a medium.
