Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks: What I Already Own and Love
I know we may be sick of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale already, but even still , I wanted to share my picks, which includes items I already own, love and recommend!
I will say that I feel like over the last couple of years the sale has just been eh to me. There is so much pressure to buy, buy buy but I promise you nothing is worth going in debt over! I have found that many buy just to buy or get a good deal during this sale. I tend to focus on items that are more classics, less trendy.
True & Co Bralette: I have this in two colors, and it’s the perfect bra to wear when you don’t want to wear one but should. Really comfortable, easy on and off and gives just enough support.
Crop Straight Leg Faux Leather Pants: I got these last year during the sale and wore them so much-they are worth it! I had been looking for faux leather pants and these fit the bill. I wear the size 14 so I would say they are true to size. They are also pretty versatile as well-they look great with both heels and sneakers.
Wit & Wisdom has really great denim. I have had multiple pairs over the years. Next to Madewell, this brand is a favorite. The waistband has elastic on the inside which makes them fit so much better. The ones I got last year are unfortunately not available this year. I purchased these ones-hoping I love them just as much!
The Madewell Kent Cardigan to me, is a tried and true year after year. I have a couple from both the Nordstrom sale and Madewell directly. It’s an easy toss on and go, looks great over dresses or jeans and a tee. I always size down to a medium when ordering the Kent cardigan.
Brixton Joanna Straw Hat: I have had this hat for several summers now and it is still in great shape. It gets a lot of wear in not only my day to day but at the beach and pool as well.
If you buy only one thing from the sale, let it be these Spanx Faux Leather leggings. I have had these for several years. The quality is really great as well, wash after wash! I do suggest sizing up as they run small. I am also only 5’4” so I wear the petite length!
T3 has been my go-to when it comes to my hair tools for the last couple of years. I had been using the same brush since Ryan and I got married (I know-terrible) so I was due for a new brush. The brush set is wonderful! The hair dryer is gentle on my hair but dries evenly and quickly. The straightener is also wonderful and works well!
Wacoal Red Carpet Convertible Bra: A few weeks ago I asked on instagram what strapless bra I should try and this one was the overwhelming response. It came in the mail the other day and I fell in love pretty quickly. I don’t know what it is about it, but it’s so comfortable and stays in place!
Supergoop! Sunscreen: Worth it! I not only use it for me but the whole family. Can’t recommend their products enough!
Tula Cleansing Set: I have been using Tula as apart of my skincare routine for quite some time. The Cult Classic is super gentle and is a great everyday cleanser, the 24/7 cream is the perfect amount of moisturizing, and the Rose Glow & Get it so so hydrating!
I get asked about my lashes quite a bit, and my answer is always the same-Neulash! I have been using this pretty regularly over the last few years. It works really well and I have been truly pleased with the results!
Ryan and the girls got my this Riki Loves Riki Lighted Mirror for Christmas and I am in LOVE. I of course love it to film, but just general makeup application is so much better using it!
Not included in the collage but HIGHLY recommend are the Nuna carseats. We have been using Nuna since we brought Cecelia home from the hospital, starting with the Pipa, and now we have her in the Rava! The Mixx stroller (with the bassinet) is absolutely wonderful-I can’t recommend them enough!
The Stokke TrippTrapp high chair is another item that is worth every penny. It is not only easy on the eyes, but its safe, and it grows with your little one-adults can even sit in it! I have a friends who have had theirs for literally decades!
