My Under Five Minute Makeup Routine

I know we are all busy, and if you’re anything like me, sleep tends to win in the mornings. I like to reset my alarm more times that I probably should which leaves a little less time for me to get ready. This is where a quick makeup routine comes in handy!

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Tula Smoothing & Firming Treatment Primer: I have been using this primer for a few months and love it. I feel like it helps my makeup look so much smoother! Use code MOMMYINHEELS for 15% off your order.

Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint: I had heard great things about this and wanted to try it with the warmer months approaching. I like to wear less makeup in the summer time and this fit the bill. I’ve used it a few times, and while I do like it, I think I have some playing around with it to do as far as application. I use the color 6 Ora. I’ve applied with this brush (oval 7) but I do want to try a makeup sponge as well.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish Color Corrector: I have used and love Becca’s Under Eye Brightening Corrector for a couple of years but I’ve been looking for a replacement since Becca is going out of business later this year. Per the recommendation of one of my readers, I grabbed the Charlotte Tilbury and I love it! I feel like it’s really similar to Becca’s!

Tarte Shape Tape Ultra Creamy Concealer: This is a new addition to my makeup routine. It covers well, doesn’t crease more than other concealers that I use and applies easily. This e.l.f. concealer is a great dupe that I love, too!

Essence Brighten Up! Baking Powder: I use this to set my under eye concealer and I also brush it on my lids on the days where I don’t wear any shadow to help prevent any foundation or concealer from creasing.

Milk Makeup Matte Cream Bronzer: I’ve been wanting to try a cream bronzer for a while-this one is a great option! Easy to apply. compact, blends well and it lasts!

Fenty Beauty Freestyle Highlighter: I use this duo for both blush and highlighter. I was initially drawn to these shades (Ginger Binge/Moscow Mule). They apply well, are very pigmented, last and are buildable!

e.l.f. Eyebrow Kit: This is a tried and true, I’ve been using for years (along with Glossier Boy Brow).

Essence Lash Princess Mascara: I was told this was amazing (especially for being so inexpensive) and everyone was right! It’s so good and one that I reach to pretty frequently!

e.l.f. Bite Sized Palette: I like to use the lightest shimmer shade in the Cream & Sugar palette for the inner corner of my lids. I like to think it makes me look like I had a lot of sleep!

Maybelline SuperStay Ink Crayon Lipstick: I wear the shade Talk the Talk, which to me is the perfect, everyday nude. It has a matte finish with I prefer, and applies easily (I don’t need a mirror to apply on the go)
