Current Jewelry Favorites and How I Store Them
I used to love-and I mean love statement jewelry. The bigger and chunkier the necklace the better. The danglier the earrings the better, and don’t even ask me how many bracelets I would stack for my ‘arm party.’
Trends have certainly shifted but so have my tastes. I have to be in the right mood to wear more than one bracelet, and I much prefer layering dainty necklaces as opposed to wearing a massive necklace!
For earrings, I very rarely wear anything that dangles…small studs and ear cuffs are my favorite!
Over the last couple of years I seem to have found my jewelry style along with some favorite brands!
It can be hard to find rings that fit well and look decent on my fingers. I don’t have the daintiest of hands (I’d go as far to say nothing about me is dainty hahaha) so it can be a challenge to find rings that look good and feel comfortable!
Stella & Dot has great, simple gold bands that look great together or by themselves. They range in sizes 5-9.
I like to pair them with these thin midi rings, either together or separate!
Another fun ring that I found to fit my fingers well is this dome ring! It makes for a great, everyday right hand ring!
Let’s chat earrings! Within the last year I discovered Stella & Haas. They have the best dainty, layering jewelry and its good quality but affordable!
The Aja Double Huggies I am wearing are adorable! They’re easy to get in and take out and I feel like they give your look a little edge!
These ear cuffs are something that I find myself wearing a lot. I only have two holes in each ear (although I’ve been wanting a third for a while) so these cuffs give the look of more holes without the pain!
I also love hoops, and wish I could get away with bigger ones, but they just don’t work for me (especially with having Cecelia). I think these chunky hoops are a nice alternative. I love the look of them, and that they sit closet to my lobe.
I also wear a lot of these snake huggie earrings and these safety pin ones! I Affordable and cute!
Not only is Trish Rohrbaugh one of my dear friends and assistant, but she is also a talented jewelry designer/maker. These earrings are really versatile and are a great everyday option.
Aside from earrings, I would say I wear a necklace just about every day.
Once again, my love for Stella & Haas runs deep. This snake chain necklace gets worn just about every day-sometimes I don’t even feel that I’m wearing it, that’s how lightweight it is!
I tend to pair it a lot with my Robyn Rhodes personalized necklace. If you’ve been around for a while you know what a fan I am of Robyn and her jewelry (we’ve even collaborated a few times)! This necklace with my girls’ initials on them is one of my personal favorites-it means so much to me!
My neck is a little thicker as well so I like to keep a necklace extender on hand just to make my necklaces fit a little bit better, depending on the length!
Other honorable mentions for necklaces is this inexpensive coin necklace and this Stella & Dot medallion, and zodiac sign.
Bracelets I don’t wear a ton of-I have to be in the right mood to wear a lot of them. These Budha Girl bangles are super lightweight, easy to get on and off and have a wonderful meaning to them! They go with just about everything, too!
I also wear these Etsy personalized bracelets a lot. They’re comfortable, relatively affordable and would make great gifts! I wear them a lot-they’re a great every day option!
Lastly, jewelry storage! I used to have a pretty big armoire (that I had to have when I was in junior high…who knows why lol) but I just don’t have a need for it anymore (or the room).
This, this, and this work so well on my dresser. The hold a surprising amount of jewelry, are wallet friendly and even make great decor!
