How to Style a Black Sweatshirt/Sweatpant Set Multiple Ways

I think we can all agree that 2020, and now well into 2021 is the year of loungewear. They have surpassed having a moment and are here to stay. From Zoom meetings, napping, grocery shopping, or just hanging out, loungewear is it.

I have several colors of the Lou & Grey matching sets. Both the sweatshirt and sweatpants are the perfect combination of comfortable, functional and stylish. I have worn them for anything and everything, from sleeping to running errands. What’s great about them is they are easy to turn from lounge to stylish with something simple like swapping slippers for sneakers.

Let’s take a look at all of the ways I’ve styled mine (in black) for you.

This might be my favorite way to wear this matching set. With sneakers, a beanie and a cozy jacket. I think it looks so pulled together without sacrificing comfort. Honestly, you can recreate this look with any black jacket and sneakers you have.

Oh and also-for sizing reference, I am wearing a large in both the top and the bottom. They do stretch out, so keep that in mind. I do have this set (in another color) in mediums and I feel like the fit is similar to the large, without the stretching out if that makes sense?! Regardless, I think you’ll be fine either sticking with your normal size, or sizing down-it all depends on how fitted or loose you’d like it!

I swear you can toss a neutral cardigan over anything and make it look pulled together! Typically when I wear this cardigan (a large) it doubles as a jacket for me!

Just like my previous outfit, you can really recreate this look with any cardigan you have as well as mules. I think the key to keeping it dressier is the mules you choose!

Another favorite closet staple of mine is my moto jacket. This time of year it replaces my denim jacket. I love how it can give a little bit of edge to your outfit, whether or not you’re wearing jeans and a tee or a feminine dress!

This jacket is a few years old, but I still wear it just as much as when I bought it!

Baseball hats are another great finishing touch, especially for the days where you don’t feel like washing or doing your hair!
