Mommy in Heels x Gibson: Wear Now, Wear Later Dresses

I am so excited to be collaborating with Gibsonlook again, this time to design a dress that will become a closet staple for you! It’s one that you can wear now and wear later, dress up or down, and take you from work to play, play date to date night!

When helping Gibson design this dress, I had YOU in mind. I wanted something that would be comfortable for all without sacrificing style (obvi), but something that could be your wear-for-all, go-to dress. Casual brunch? Wear with sandals! Have a work presentation? Toss on a blazer and some heels. Wedding? Strappy heels and some statement jewelry! Working from a coffee shop? A denim jacket and sneakers will do the trick!

This classic dress is offered in two colors-black and mauve! Perfect shades to wear year round, with summer metallics and neutrals, and into the fall with rich colors!

As for sizing, this dress runs a little large, so I suggest sizing down. I am wearing a medium and Lindsey is wearing XS! I am 5’4” and lengthwise it hits at a perfect spot. I can wear flats comfortably but it also looks great with a heel.

WIth the full elastic waist, there is plenty of room for comfort. The dropped shoulder also provides plenty of room (without being frumpy looking) for your arms, too! It has a snap closure at the chest too for extra modesty!

I also love that the elastic waist and faux wrap top make it bump AND nursing friendly!

I love how Lindsey and I styled the dress completely different! It looks so amazing with booties-another option for the colder months! It would even look great with a Moto jacket, if denim jackets aren’t your thing or if you want a little more structure.

I also excited to share two dresses that my friend Lindsey helped design with Gibsonlook! We were able to shoot her dresses as well when we were together last week! Let me tell you-they are SO gorgeous!

I am wearing a medium in this-I sized down! What I love about this is the elastic waist-added comfort! The colors in the print are great because (like my dress) they look perfect year round.

We styled both of these dresses to wear now and wear later. I love the idea of adding a belt to both of them, and swapping the sandals for booties! How adorable does the belt and booties look with this? Also, the buttons are functioning-nursing friendly! (and bump friendly, too!)

This dress! How beautiful! I love the print and the style-so comfortable with the elastic waist, auctioning buttons, and the length is perfect! I love how (just like the other dresses), its a wear now, wear later! I am in the medium and Lindsey is in the XS.
