My Spring Trend Favorites for 2021
I am so excited for the warmer months ahead. I feel like it’s a promise of better days ahead, isn’t it? Even with snow on the ground I heard birds chirping the other morning! It’s even been in the 50’s this week-what a breath of fresh air!
With the change of the weather also comes new trends! While there are plenty, there are ones that I am more excited for than others! Let’s chat some that I am particularly fond of and ready to wear!
Tie Dye
Yes, tie dye is still here! Love it or hate it, it’s not going anywhere. From small accessories like fun socks, to bolder matching sets, it’s easy to incorporate into your day to day. I personally love wearing a matching sets-easy, comfortable and on trend!
Not into head to toe tie dye? Try something simple like a fun bandana, a simple tee or even a bathing suit!
Trench Coats
I am honestly not surprised that trench coats are a spring trend. To me, they’re something that is classic, timeless and will never go out of style. Get the right trench coat and you’re set for years to come. There are definitely ones that are more affordable than others, but I do think that a trench coat is something worth investing it as it will last
Statement Shoulders
At first when I saw statement sleeves were a trend I was kind of like uhhhh. But then once I started looking I kind of got excited. Statement doesn’t necessarily mean exaggerated or over the top! Something like a little ruffle or a puff sleeve will do the trick!
My personal favorite is just a little volume at the shoulders like this top-Nothing too overwhelming, but adds just enough interest!
Non Skinny Jeans
I personally don’t think skinny jeans are going anywhere, and I will for sure continue to wear them, but there are other styles that are climbing the ranks!
I personally love these flare crop jeans-incredibly comfortable and so flattering on everyone. Another non skinny jean style I am fond of is the vintage cut!
I know a lot of us automatically go to flares or really wide leg denim, but non skinny doesn’t have to be massive! These straight leg jeans are a great alternative!
Button Down Shirts
Classic white button downs are always a great closet staple. It’s something that never goes out of style, something you can wear year after year. As far as the trend for this spring, button downs with a little bit of a twist are what I’m seeing and loving!
From prints, to stripes and even a little bit of texture, there are so many options! I am even loving wearing button downs as swim cover ups!
