Spring Shoes: My Favorites and What's Worth It
Hopefully you were able to read my blog post on Monday chatting all things closet edits. With a new season fast approaching, now is the time to go through your wardrobe and get rid of things you don’t need!
The other good thing about doing a closet cleanup? There’s room to add some new items! I love the idea of starting fresh each season and adding some newer items to my closet, but I also love to rewear some of my tried and true items.
I’m sharing several shoes for this spring that I think are worth wearing-some old (from last spring and summer) and some new!
Veja Sneakers: I put off getting these for a couple of years because of the price but I have to say-they are worth it. Hand made, great quality and truly comfortable. You can get them in so many color combinations, too, but this pink is a favorite of mine! I have worn mine more casually with jeans and tee’s but also with dresses and skirts!
Tory Burch Flip Flop Sandal: A tried and true for so many, it seems! These are classic, neutral and great quality sandals that will last from year to year! Great to wear with denim, dresses, shorts, all of the above!
Madewell Sandals: I have a similar style to these and they are so comfortable. They are well made and wear really well. A simple, toss on and go shoe for the warmer months!
New Balance Sneakers: Another great shoe that will last, but in an adorable, spring shade! I love the Rose color-such a pretty pastel for the season.
Universal Thread Espadrilles: I love the slight platform on these. Super cute and neutral without sacrificing comfort.
Steve Madden Studded Sandal: I have these and love them! They go with so much and are surprisingly comfortable!
Madewell Lace Up Sandal: I also have these-I believe this is the third spring/summer I’ve had them. The quality is top notch, the neutral color goes with just about anything and the are pretty comfortable (although they aren’t ‘toss on and go’ shoes).
Madewell Slip On Sneakers: I just got these in the mail! They are true to size and look adorable. I love the black and white paint splatter-an elevated neutral!
Birkenstock Big Buckle Sandal: Another pair of shoes that I have had for several years and have held up so well are these Birkenstocks! I can’t put into words how comfortable they are, not to mention the quality!
Target Studded Sandal: I just got these and they fit so well! I’m excited to wear them with anything and everything! They also come in black!
Madewell Woven Mule: This style of shoe has been popular for the last couple of years and I personally don’t see it going away any time soon. Easy on/off, and with the block heel they are comfortable and easy to wear!
Dolce Vita Sandal: I feel like anything woven or braided is popular when it comes to shoes this season. These don’t sacrifice style for comfort-adorable, comes in multiple colors and under $50!
Loft Clog Sandals: I have been wanting a pair of clog sandals forever and finally found a pair that I really like! Gorgeous color (comes in several others as well), perfect height and comfortable!
